Day 15 Zen Vision:M Birth of a Character

I broke down today and opened the Zen manual. After spending the weekend listening to music on the Zen at the park, at the zoo and at home, I decided today that I really do need to know how to make a playlist on the Zen.

When I tried to figure it out on my own, without the manual, I made a playlist with just one song. That is not a playlist... a playlist should have at least two songs on it. So I looked in the manual and there is a very brief section on how to make a playlist. There seems to be only one way to do it. Without knowing, I created a playlist by selecting songs and all I needed to do was go to now playing under the music library and give my selections a name. I gave it the name testt1. yes, with two ts because you have to type the name into the zen using the touchpad I didn't feel like figuring out how to correct the typo. So now the Zen has four playlists. Two that I made on my computer using the free software and two that I made on the Zen.

Sometimes October seems really far away and sometimes October is just around the corner. This weekend, it felt like it was around the corner so I worked on making little characters for the stories... we now we have four friends which hopefully will be as talented at the main character and three completed stories. seven more to go.. So far I know that the children like the characters.. my daughter keeps stealing my stencils to draw on them and she handed them out to kids at the kindergarten today... Not the one in the picture.. a different one.. the one she handed out does not have a visible tail. I am still debating what colors to make the characters.... that will be important especially if we decide to create merchandise. the important thing is that they have been born and now have a few weeks to develop before I put them to work.
