Sofia is now incorporated

I have been dithering over this. When I met with the German lawyers, they told me that I could be a GmBH, a LTD or a US corporation. All three are acceptable in Germany, in fact, If I wanted to be an Sarl that would have been also accepted. I could go into the EU law explanation but this is not a law blog... instead just know that Europeans really believe in Free commerce and getting rid of all restrictions to that idea. Having finally decided to be a US corporation. Here are my reasons :

1. I know how to do that b/c my background is in US law.
2. I am looking to grow my business in the US so i won't have to create another company.
3. It looks good to have an inc. after the company name.
4. I can say I am an international company with offices in Florida and Munich, Germany.
5. I can now sell shares in my company to start raising capital.
6. I can do all my filings electronically because I know where to go and how to fill out the forms.
7. . It takes less than a week.

Renia Edwards, an accountant from Australia with international experience, has offered to work with Sofia's financials. Now I have to find financing for her to monitor. It is nice to finally have someone with exceptional mathematical skills to take care of the financial side of Sofia.

My focus for this coming week will be marketing. The product from Italy will be arriving next week and I need to organize the intensive English summer camp that incorporates the product line. The camp will be small four to six children during August. The exact dates and times will be posted on my website this week.
