Where is the money tree?

As part of my marketing, I decided to create a little magazine for women which would contain our products. I found a designer who agreed to work on the project for deferred compensation and designed the cover and the interior design. I found a group of volunteers for writing the articles from the expat community by posting my project on www.toytownmunich.com. Some wonderful people wrote articles for the demo copy.
Although I am not sure how I am going to be able to afford Dr. Thomas Zwissler, he is my lawyer. We just had a meeting and he suggests that I start tracking down money so that I can become a GHBH. I have never had to find money before and I am not sure how to do it. He suggests that I set up a pitch night where I invite people interested in investing money.
I post once again on Toytown and six people respond that they are interested in a presentation. I send the lawyer the list of names and when the day comes for the presentation, I meet the lawyer at his office. Only two people show up. Is this normal? My mother said that was a pretty good turnout, but I am not sure.
I already know I will have to do this project by myself. Will I really be able to get investors to
put in money? Do I want investors putting in money? One of the guys who shows up is German and is dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. His employee introduces him and tells me he is single.
Isn't' that an odd thing to say at a business meeting? But then we are not really at a business
meeting. It is the lawyer, myself and two people who are not going to invest so it is more like a
practice run for some later date. The two consultants give some good feedback regarding my
project and I now have a few more things to think about.
No money but now I have another adviser from a consulting company. I seem to be collecting advisers like playing cards.. I wish I could exchange them in for some cold hard cash.
