Your Website skills Suck stick with publishing!
I needed to get the website up so investors could download the financials and then quiz me to death about why I need two million Euros. I did not come up with that number. The consultants came up with that number. The numbers I am using are so low that I can't seriously post those on a website.. Andrew says I am a grass roots project but I feel more like the sawdust project...grass costs money to maintain.... I like thinking that it takes two million Euros to create my company and if I continue voicing that, it will keep other people from wanting to start competing companies because it sure is hard to find two million Euros.
Having downloaded the software to create a website, I spent one weekend putting a simple website together. I posted the website and within a few minutes I got two emails telling me it was shit.
One email came from the talented designer who created my logo and the other came from the webdesigner who made the present site at www.sofiaverlag.com . Gideon Yeomans is my designer. He helped figure out what to Call the company... originally I wanted to call it Diva but that was shot down cause in England all Divas are bitches.... and then he thought it would be good to name it Emmy but I don't want to look like I am that vain so I would rather change my name to Sofia if we need to have the same name...I like the name Sofia.. it means wisdom ( I just learned that by reading the Divinci Code and is not the orignial reason we picked it) Gideon made a nice presentation of all the names I could use for my company and I hated them. The only name I really liked other than Diva was Sofia.. so Sofia is what I named the company. (It was not one of the names in the presentation list ... a writer for Sofia Magazine suggested it)
Anyways, Gideon said the website sucked and Gen who is the web designer said it sucked so they took the site down and fixed it. Unfortunately, I am not done writing content so it sits there looking pretty... I am hoping to have the product line jpegs next week and then my site will have lots of pretty little pictures to look at... you will still need to email me or call me to order... but at least there will be things for you to look at other than my bloated financials.
