Recycle. It is good for business
I know a consultant in Munich who uses the same information in different ways. The term used to describe this is recycling. He is not recycling trash but concepts, using the same idea in different ways.
As a publishing and distribution company, I am trying to develop products that will appeal to the market niche I am targeting. I am trying to figure out what women want. Do they love audio books? I know I love audio books. When I was at the University and drove 8 hours to see my parents, I always bought a book to listen on the way. Today I read an article in the NY Times website about audio books.
The article talks about using different voices to create the cast of a book. Making the book more like a play. I am not old enough to remember this, but they used to do this before television; Have a cast of people reading a play/book on the radio.
The article also quotes a large publisher saying that if you have a Apple computer, you can make your own audio books. Is Apple computer going to be mecca for the literary world? They have transformed the way people think about music, are they going to transform the way people think about books?
