Podcasting Technology Articles
Where does all my time go lately? It goes into podcasting. I didn't realize that podcasting a ten minute episode would take me hours. Luckily, I have those hours I spent writing my NANOMOWRI novel to dedicate to my new fascination.
I do know I would make a horrible scientist. I started this podcast experiment and I don't have a control.. In all scientific experiments, there is a control so scientists are able to look and see what changes occcur or what advances are made.
I do not have that. So now I have this issue. I started podcasting my book to see if people would download. I have the book in spirituality section. Why? Why would I do that? Technology is not my religion (A passion but not my faith). I put the book in the spirituality section because I believe in God and that is what my novel is about. God and how my faith was tested and strengthened.
So I put the book in the spirituality section. Now comes the problem. I just sent in a link for the magazine to put it in the family section for a larger audience but it has been listed in religion. Religion.. my magazine has nothing to do with religion.. so, do I move it... I have lots of people downloading the magazine... would they be downloading it if it was in the family section? Do they download it b/c they are hoping that somewhere in my articles will be something that deals with faith or do they like the articles and download in spite of its location.
I did two articles yesterday on technology. One article was about the UN and how the UN is using computer games to bring awareness of the hunger issue to children... and the second article is a bit of a fluff article about Google. I say it is a fluff article because I know all about these services that Google offers but you never know.. people think of it as their web browser, they may never have spent time exploring the MORE button located on the web browser.
In either case, I woke up this morning and my podcast is still in the top 15 in religion, so I guess people did not mind listening to the technology articles... Today we are talking about relationships.. it is touchy feely day... lets see if spiritual people want to be touch and feely and well as creative, business minded and technologically savey.
