Day 9 with Vision Zen:M Procrastination and Google Analytics
Why procrastinate?
There is a good demotivational poster that says the reason to procrastinate is that you get an immediate reward. Doing the work is not an immediate reward. Looking down at the Zen, i know I am procrastinating. I tried making a list and asked it to save music files but I have no clue where they went. When I go to my two playlists that I made on the computer, I can access the button to make a playlist... I don't know what I am doing wrong. I need directions for this part or time to play with the Zen and figure out how to do this. I hate pointing out that I am a bit dense but when it comes to technology, I like to be shown how to do things. I am stubborn though and I will teach myself how to do this tomorrow evening.. or Thursday but definitely by Friday.
I also have to find a cord to plug the Zen into the TV. From doing a bit of research, I found that this part of my test might be challenging... challenging for a guy tester who likes to fiddle so what will that mean for a female tester who is not a fiddler.
I did find one site that gave the exact cord that will fit so that I don't have to buy the Zen cord (you can buy a cord from the company, it does not come with your Zen) Now the challenge is to find the Zen cord and the Generic in Munich, Germany
For Sofia Magazine, I am keeping a blog on the site with the articles and materials that we podcast. Yesterday, I uploaded the podcast for Toytown Writers and mentioned that I would put the written material in the blog in the evening. Being a social creature I chatted with friends last night. No blogging and now I feel a bit guilty. Why feel guilty? I feel guilty because of Google Analytics. I looked at my analytics this morning and I had quite a few hits last night from people looking for the written word. They entered Sofia Magazine looking for the Blog entry. Sorry. I will post the written word at the same time I post the podcast. If I did not have analytics, I would never have known your interest in the magazine blog. I love Google Analytics and thank you for going and checking out the magazine blog.
Today I am working most of the day and will not have time to play with the Zen. The little time I have free, I am going to try ranking songs and see how that works. Ranking songs is hard, it depends on my mood.. somedays I might love the song and other days I might really hate hearing it... so how do I give it stars...hmmm and shouldn't I love all the music that I put on my Creative Vision Zen:M. After all this is not the radio, it is my player and I put everything on it, right?
