Penguin Publisher creates Wiki Novel

Yesterday, I got two pieces of information. One made me very happy and the other made me curious. the first piece of information I received was that Penguin has a Wiki book. I went over to the website today and checked out the work in progress and it looks like fun. It reminds me of a writing project I did with a writer from California. We each wrote a paragraph in our own style. It was fun to see how the story developed from paragraph to paragraph. This is a wonderful way to get people to use their creative energy and to learn to share ideas.

The second piece of information that I received is that Avanquest is purchasing Emme... or merging.. or taking over.. it really depends on what position in the company you hold...

A.G. is one of my advisers and heads Avanquest for Germany....it will be interesting to see how the new bigger company is going to change its image... I know who they want to target and I told him how to reach them... how much of my idea is going to be sucked up by a giant. I have not decided yet what to think of this news... Most of the people in charge of Europe are men...how good are they at reading the female market?

At least I know that what I am developing is something his company will never be able to accomplish, so I am not worried.. but still... I am curious to see how the Giant will go after its prey.
