Day 6 Zen Vision:M test Microsoft ordered to pay

The weather was beautiful today and I took the Zen Vision:M for a walk by the Starnberg lake. I was planning to create a play list for the Zen on the Zen but I was not alone and I ended up staying outside by the lake until the wind blew me home. Now I am finding that the lock function annoys me. I lock it so that my volume will not go up when it is in my pocket. (walking triggers the sensor pad and then my ears get blasted) so, having the player locked I have to unlock it to change songs. This is not necessarily the problem. The problem is that I forget that I unlocked the player and then I go to unlock it and turn it off. UGH.... yes, I know...

It seems like such an easy thing... so many things seem easy. When I was in the restroom today there was a women having a hard time opening the bathroom door. She was pushing and pushing and I scoffed wondering what the heck was her problem. Using that same space, when I unlocked the door to leave, I found myself pushing the door and it did not open... I pushed and pushed and then panicked a little. Well, I made the same mistake as this women... all I needed to do was turn the circular handle not just push the door. Maybe the Zen just needs to be turned instead of pushed.

If you are into technology there have been a few very interesting legal cases going on which will change the tech industry and music. The cases include Apple's iTunes litigation in Europe (Scandinavian countries) and Mp3 litigation from the US (involving microsoft having to pay approximately 1.52 billion in damages.. ouch.)

It is amazing how a few legal cases will push business in a new direction. The legal cases from Scandinavia will push Apple to start licensing and the litigation from the US will make the Apple iTunes format a serious alternative to the MP3. This will not only change the dynamics of Apple (finalizing their move away from a hardware company to a software company and Music store) but it will open the market for companies like Creative to finally grab a larger share of the multi media player market...

Things are changing pretty quickly like the wind that blew me home...where will the wind blow these giants?
