Day 3 Creative Zen Vision:M Podcast Camp

I worked today teaching so I was unable to play with the Zen too much but I did accomplish two things. First, I found one of my videos that worked and I watched it.

It is a video of my daughter ballet dancing... so fun for me and that is about it. I am not going to try to hook that up to someone else's TV. will have to burn one of my DVDs so I can watch it on the Zen.

Second, I dropped the Zen. It handled the drop fairly well but now I wish that I had one of those cool protective rubber cases to cover it up.

Here are the two things that annoyed me today with the player. First, the front plate will not stay clean or pretend to be clean. I just can't keep it from getting full of fingerprints. Second, I wanted to throw away the carrying case. I wore all black today and the case is a white faux suede and it shed all over my jacket. I looked like I was attacked by a cotton ball.. little pieces of white fuzz covered my jacket near my pockets and my sleeves. I ended up throwing the bag in my case and now I am keeping my fingers crossed that there is something out there to replace that bag. It looks pretty but is not very useful for me and not very goth friendly. A fellow writer in Munich crochett's bags so maybe I will place an order

All day I have been thinking about podcasting because the University of Bremen sent me a survey asking why I podcast. Professor Dr. Dennis Mocigemba found my podcast and had an interactive survey full of questions. It was fun knowing that someone in Bremen listened to my podcast at least once. If you are a podcaster, here is the survey to fill out:

I love podcasting so much that I decided to organize a podcast weekend here in Munich. They just had one in Berlin in January and I want one here in Munich. Munich is the capital of the media industry, it seems only appropriate that a podcast meeting should be held here in Munich. so anyone interested in participating let me know... I think June is a good month for the weekend mayhem.

Anyone with contacts that may be interested in sponsoring the event, let me know...I have to read up and find out what we need for the event but I will keep you all posted.

I still have to go listen to the children's book podcast that was left as a comment yesterday.. sounds like a fun group and I look forward to hearing what they have to say.
