PPPPPPOSTING Day 4 Zen Vision:M Test

I don't know if it was sent out with the subscriptions yesterday but I posted day three of my Zen Vision:M test twice. It was not on purpose. I was not trying to drill information into your head. Really, I don't like to nag or repeat myself so I removed the duplicate.

Since my last post, I did accomplish one thing. I figured out how to make a playlist on my computer using the free software. It looks like making a playlist on the Zen will take awhile (at least a day for me) so I will wait until the weekend to fiddle with the playlist. I decided that the perfect player for me will have a touch screen with a little touchpen like on my phone.. my phone doesn't get all smudgy.... but I don't want a phone in the Zen. I hate how complicated my phone is.. but I love the touch screen and the little touch pen.

Today, I am going to try out the playlist on my way to Hexal which is about twenty minutes outside of Munich on the BOB. Once I get to the little town, it is another twenty minute walk. Lots of time to test the Zen:M and my new playlist. Of course, all my music in iTunes is not compatible... I have to figure out how to change my music format so it is once again an mp3. Be back later with the results of the day.

LATER IN THE DAY

I just returned from my writer's group and they have agreed to create a Wiki. I am really looking forward to this. We are starting with some ground rules that the Penguin Wiki did not have and of course we are only six writers but we all write very differently so it will be interesting to see the story develop. How did the Zen Vision:M do the rest of the day? Well it made it through the day.

I showed it to lots of Germans and asked their opinions. They all liked the machine and enjoyed looking at it and the only criticism was from a scientist who said that he would not buy any musical device made out of plastic... I am not sure what other material they make musical devices out of now but he said his stereo system was 15 years old and he will wait until he can buy a very high quality system something that costs around ten thousand dollars. Ouch. I have my computer, an mp3 player and a radio.. I guess I am not really an audiophile.

The playlist worked and I actually used the lock feature today. I realized that if I lock it, it will continue playing my playlist and the touchpad and keys are locked so that it doesn't get turned off.. I also noticed that the screen went blank when you locked it so I couldn't see what was playing... I will have to see if it does it again tomorrow.
